I'll overwhelm 'serious fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.

Briton Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to publicize next month's boxing match.

Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Mentality

"I will break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As both boxers engaged in the customary confrontation, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really happening.
